To qualify, the applicants must be first-time homebuyers or cannot have owned a home in the last three years.

Deferred Payment Loan (DPL) Maximum amount available is $ 14,999.00 anywhere within the City of Fort Worth. There are several recapture provisions, however according to program guidelines a homeowner will not have to pay back the loan if the terms of the program are followed and complied with.

This appears to be an incredible program and should help many potential homebuyers who are sitting on the sidelines, get back into the game with personal home ownership.

Interest Rates Hit 30 year Low

Good Afternoon Cape Cod Neighbors

Mortgage Rates Drop to Record Low: 30 year fixed mortgage rates dropped to their lowest levels in 39 years according to a new survey released by Freddie Mac, the second largest mortgage finance company.Interest rates on 15 year fixed rates and hybrid adjustable rate mortgage rates reached fresh lows as well. While record low rates and high housing affordability helped the housing market gain ground over the last year, the sector is struggling since the popular home buyer tax credit expired on April 30th.According to a Freddie Mac survey, the average 30 year fixed rate for conventional (non-FHA and VA) mortgages averaged 4.69 percent for the week ended June 24th and is the lowest since Freddie Mac started the survey in April 1971. Still, Freddie Mac's data is at least a week old before they publish it and it has been another week since then. 15 year rates are below 4%. Rates do vary depending on credit, debt ratios, down payment, area of the country, property type, points paid and many more factors.

Hello

My name is Al Davis. I live in the Trinity section of The Heritage. I am one of your neighbors and also live in one of the D R Horton Cape Cod designed homes. The purpose of this blog is to pass along information regarding our Cape Cod community. Over the past several weeks I have been visting with some of our neighbors and everyone I spoke with expressed a desire to have something like this blog so that they could quickly and easily find out whats happening in our neighborhood. As we get up and running, I will be posting information that I feel you might be interested in. From neighborhood block parties, 4th of July events, greet and meet parties, local school events and more. I will also be looking for volunteers to help originate, organize and schedule fun things to do as a community throughout the year.

If items of interest and concerns are of an on going nature, I will utilize specific pages dedicated strictly to those issues. Just click on the page you wish to follow and you will be taken to that specific page.

So here we go! Send your request and concerns as soon as possible.
